Yesterday Laura and I had the privilege of shooting Kendra and Jeremy’s wedding at the always awesome Lakeway Resort and Spa. It was a b-e-a-utiful day and a beautiful wedding. These two are so in love. It was definitely not hard for us to capture the emotions of the day. For the reception Kendra put together a handful of slideshows to share with her guests that, at times, had everyone cracking up and shedding a tear. It was a great day and we’re honored we could be there to photograph it. Enjoy the preview and have a great time in Hawai’i guys!

Wow! Our first wedding of 2008 and it was amazing. Talk about a perfect day. Perfect weather. Perfect location. Perfect couple. Perfect guests. Perfect Rabbi. Perfect everything. Kara and Wes tied the knot at Star Hill Ranch in the hill country under sunny skies and perfect 75 degree weather. Can you believe it? January 5th and we had 75 degree weather. This was our first time out to the Ranch and we definitely hope that it isn’t our last. The location is amazing. I highly recommend you visit their website to check out what they have to offer. Okay, enough about the location and weather… Kara and Wes were the picture of beauty and handsomeness. Kara looked stunning in her lace gown and you’ll have to see the photos to see just how happy she was. They truly are a couple who are madly in love and you could see it and feel it all day. It was a beautiful day in San Antonio yesterday where Laura and I enjoyed shooting Heather and Abraham’s wedding. Their ceremony was held at the Travis Park United Methodist Church in downtown San Antone followed by a reception at Plaza Lacea. Both families were fun and welcomed us into their special day. We had a great time documenting their day and I hope you enjoy the photos. Be sure to follow the link… there are a bunch of photos.

Yesterday Rayna and Mike tied the knot at the always beautiful Lakeway Resort and Spa under a blue sky and brilliant sun. Their ceremony and reception were attended by 20 of their closest friends and family which makes this the smallest wedding that Laura and I have shot (a welcome change from the larger weddings we’ve done). Rayna and Mike are a fun, laid back couple and they brought that nature to their wedding day. Laura hung out at the Resort with the girls while they got ready and I woke up the guys and took them to Mulligan’s in Lakeway for some pre-wedding fun (you’ll have to check out the pool shooting photo below). Everyone gathered on the back balcony around 6pm for the ceremony, followed by some fantastic sunset photos, and one heck of a party. It was a great day and we had a lot of fun being a part of your day. Congratulations guys! I hope the hangovers weren’t too bad today

This past weekend we had the pleasure of shooting Liz and Scott’s wedding at the Bahia Mar Resort in South Padre Island. The weather was beautiful, if a little hot, and even a few miscues at the ceremony and reception couldn’t dampen everyone’s spirits. Their ceremony was held on the beach at 9:30am followed by a quick formal photo session and then indoors for the reception. The events ended around 2pm, but we managed to grab the happy couple for about an hour around sunset for some stunning photos. Congratulations guys!

Yesterday Laura and I had the pleasure of shooting Candice and Gunnar’s wedding at Old Glory Ranch in Wimberley, TX. It was a beautiful day and OGR is a wonderful place to have a wedding. They had a very small wedding party (which is a welcomed change from the larger weddings we’ve shot). Congratulations guys and enjoy your honeymoon in Hawaii!

Nicole and Keith tied the knot on 3/17 at the Angel Springs Event Center in the scenic Hill Country north west of Austin. We couldn’t have asked for better weather, better guests, or a better couple. Congratulations guys!

Laura and Matt tied the knot on December 30th at the gorgeous Lakeway Resort and Spa in Austin, TX. One of the things that Laura and I love is a couple who is emotional and romantic… Laura and Matt were both. The day was filled with nervous emotions, happy tears, and a spectacular daylight ending sunset overlooking Lake Travis. We couldn’t have asked for a better day. Congratulations guys!

Liz and Garner were married on December 29th at Ashton Gardens in Houston, TX. The weather wasn’t so great that day, but the venue was beautiful and everyone had a good time. Here are a few of our favorite shots (including a few of the bridals we shot of Liz in October). Ashton Gardens is a beautiful location.
