My Passion & My Work

Hey there and welcome to the Blueye Photography blog. My name is Troy and I'm a wedding and portrait photographer located in Austin Texas. I love making photos that are real... real moments, real smiles, real love. I'm not sure that I can put my photography style into a single category, but you can be sure that I'm looking for the best light and the most creative angles I can.

In my blog you'll find everything from sneak peeks of client sessions to personal information. My life is (almost) an open book and I like to share as much as I can. Most entries will include photos... this is a photographers blog after all. I also love feedback about my photography/posts/website/life so please comment as much as you like. I read them all and try to respond to each and every one.

Free to Succeed Tour

Tonight was such a good night. I felt kind of blah leaving work and heading downtown, but the feeling quickly dissipated when David Jay and Jasmine Star began speaking and sharing the passion that they have for building a strong, well branded business. Jasmine was effusive in her presentation and DJ was so grounded and sincere. Thank you guys for putting together this tour and stopping by Austin.

Shout outs to Shyla (keep working on that PJ style… you’ll get it) and Amanda (who would have guessed I’d meet someone from Lancaster, PA at this workshop?). I enjoyed meeting you both and hope to keep in touch.

I totally felt like a Jasmine Star & David Jay groupie - I was so excited to meet them! I think I've stumbled upon your blog before (while surfing, and I didn't leave a comment) but today I am! Thanks to DJ & Jasmine's advice for Keepin it Real and Spreadin the Love. I really like your e-session photo against the blue tile wall! What a cool wall! And Heather with her head tilted back smiling. cute! I linked to your blog (revisited) from Heather Jorgensen's blog... I'm actually down in the Corpus Christi area (moved here a year ago), but would love to meet more photogs in Texas. I travel to Austin/San Antonio frequently. Hope to see you around! Grace
