Oops… yeah, I forgot to blog yesterday.  I’m not sure if it just didn’t register that it was Monday or if I was too tired and called it a night before thinking about blogging.  In any event here are a few thoughts for today to make up for missing yesterday…

For those of you who haven’t been run over by the musical freight train lately today was the DVD release of Hairspray.  Melanie has gone gah-gah for musicals and made sure she got to Best Buy early today to snag her copy.  I watched it tonight with her… it’s a fun movie… my favorite song is Ladies Choice.

My Philadelphia Eagles beat the hapless Miami Dolphins on Sunday.  No surprise there, but it’s nice to get back to a .500 record.  Still way out of first place in the NFC East… damn Cowboys.

I bought a ShootSac last week and used it for the first time this weekend shooting Yuani and Frank’s Christmas photos.  This is one stylish, handy, and comfortable bag.  They don’t always have the most masculine covers (other than the plain black) so I had to jump on purchasing one when I saw that the Swanky cover was available.

I still can’t believe that Thanksgiving is only 2 days away.  Where has this year gone?  Melanie, Bella, and I will be spending the day in Dallas with family.  I’ll be sure to hate on the Cowboys during their game

What can I say about Yuani and Frank? They are 2 fantastic people who I’ve come to know over the past year and a half. Today we visited them to shoot some photos that they are going to use for Christmas cards. I think these came out great and wanted to put a few sneak peeks up on the blog. Let me know what you think.

Today Melanie and I visited with the Robson family and had a fun time taking photos for their Christmas cards. Gianna was being a little stinker, but we waited her out and got some cute photos of her with Mommy and Daddy. We tried getting a family portrait, but she would have none of that so we just worked with what she gave us. It’s always fun seeing how the little ones are growing… we’ve photographed her ever since she was 3 months old… what a cutie. Enjoy the photos.

I don’t have much to write tonight so I’ll be quick so I can get to bed earlier than normal (go me!)…

This weekend, even though not a shooting weekend, was very busy.  I had a laundry list of things to take care of and I managed to check off all of them.  Sure it took me until 1am this morning to do it, but hey, they’re all checked off .

Even though I had the weekend off from shooting I wanted to post a couple photos of the Obuchowski’s beautiful Golden Retriever, Rambo.  I’m just finishing up the processing from their session (yes, I know I’m behind on my processing) and these photos just make me smile.  We really need to setup a play date and have Bella meet Rambo.

I know that it’s said that when we fall back after daylight savings time we should get an extra hour sleep, but it never seems to work out that way for me.  I’m still just as tired today as I was on Saturday.

Last week I bought a Mossimo baseball cap at Target that is partially made of that mesh material that athletic shorts are made of.  This hat rocks!  It’s very comfortable and fits my head perfectly.  I’ve been looking online for other hats like it and I can’t find any which is a bummer because I’d like to get another one.

If you haven’t heard of Drobo before you really should check it out.  Scalable backed up storage is a wonderful thing.

It was a beautiful day in San Antonio yesterday where Laura and I enjoyed shooting Heather and Abraham’s wedding. Their ceremony was held at the Travis Park United Methodist Church in downtown San Antone followed by a reception at Plaza Lacea. Both families were fun and welcomed us into their special day. We had a great time documenting their day and I hope you enjoy the photos. Be sure to follow the link… there are a bunch of photos.
